Our auctions normally take place three times a year and play a huge part in our fundraising efforts. They are Facebook-based and you can ask to join the group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/appledown.auction/. You'll find something for everyone amongst the amazing lots on offer. They are always great fun and by joining you are not obliged to bid.
There are many roles at Appledown for volunteers. Maybe you could spare a few hours to do some cleaning, home-visits or office work? Our small but dedicated fund-raising committee is always looking for new recruits with fresh ideas or maybe you could add your name to the waiting list of dog-walkers. Please contact us if you can help in any way, however small. We do have to insist on volunteers being 18 years of age or over.
